It's about time, is all I can say. That and if the ruling had been anything else, my faith in the judicial system would be broken beyond belief.

So, as of today, Jack Thompson has been officially disbarred for life in Florida. He has 30 days to close his practice with regards to any clients (not that I imagine he has too many at this point), and has to reimburse the court $43,675 for fines. This is of course awesome

As expected, Thompson has responded with his usual bluster technique by e-mailing everybody he can about this event with a tag line stating "Now the Fun Begins."

If you are a gamer, or really anybody who values truth and professionalism and several other things Thompson is not, then be grateful he is finally gone, or at least from a legal standpoint.
