Im really excited about joined ODUAC forums b/c Im an incoming ODU freshman and I really look forward to meeting alot of you in person =D Theres not much to me really, Im a standard anime junkie, but I do love video games, reading and drawing too. ^_^ I proudly admit that I am a nerd xD I guess general stuff about me would be that I am 18, a female, and very friendly. (I might not look it in person, but I am, honest!) I am a part of the Alt subcultures, but that doesnt mean I can't dress nice every once in a while, when I feel like it. Im a big fan of black + any bright color (other than yellow), and I LOVE to dance! (Im a raver)

You should be. I seriously do think of the whole anime club as a second family to me. It really makes me sad whenever I have to come back home for breaks, like summer (although of course, I still love my real family XD).

Anyways, our club is more than just an anime club. It is a place for geeks/nerds (and yes i did say geeks/nerds) and everybody else to come together and hang out. Just like we do every year.

Oh yeah, dont be surprised if you see us commandeering places at school. the club tends to do that :).

Well, other than all those awesome hobbies (I really hate zombies pffft. Ive read the Survival Guide like, 6 times. I can't find it now, which really sucks b/c it was all beat up and used...It looked really boss, like it'd seen some warfare...I think I loaned it out...To who Im not sure...Damn....Now Ill have to buy a new copy...Which sucks b/c I bought that one in D.C...It was SPECIAL...T^T Who the heck did I loan it to...I really dont remember...ARGH! ILL KEEL THEM IF I FIND OUT! That book was my baby! I really miss it...I mean, I have World War Z now, but thatd more of a documentary...I mean, its good, but not "survival guide" good...But, er, I digress. Yea. o_o) I also draw, enjoy music (dance, techno, house, rock, metal, and OSTs), going to the movies, driving on the interstate (a MUST for con goers), stargazing (I know Orion like the back of my hand! Thanks M.I.B!), ODU (I spent 2 years there as a Governor's School student, but Ive wanted to go since Kindergarten[sp? that doesn't look right, but I trust spellcheck more than myself]), M.C. Escher's work (a la Echochrome. REALLY trippy game. Don't do drugs.), video games! (I have PS3, so I play Oblivion more than I eat), and thats pretty much it. If Im not studying for class, or how to destroy zombies, Im drawing and listening to music. (Can't do one without the other. Unless Im driving. Then I can only do one. And thats listen. To music. Yea...

Personally I'm a computer science major, and I'm going to start working on a photography minor.

Yeah, I had the same feeling about ODU, but it was more along the lines of I saw it when I was in middle school and said "That is one fun place....I want to come again" Oh, and for a FYI: My counselor that was taking the John Hopkin's Gifted program to check out ODU told a poem by memory "The Cremation of Sam McGee" Cremation Of Sam Mcgee Read it, its a blast.

Well, I want to be a Forensic Scientist, so Im going to be a Biology Major and work from there to get what I need. Specifically, I want to be a pathologist and work on a "body farm". Sounds macabre, doesn't it?

I think biology requires calc >.> most sciences do.

so 3x^2 becomes 2*(3x^(2-1)) which is 6x^1 or 6x.

and x is really x^1..so it becomes 1*x^(1-1) or x^0 and all numbers raised to 0 are 1. So x^0 = 1.

and 2 well its in front of a hidden x, x^0 to be exact. so...0x2=0 ^.^ so 2 goes away.

Im not really dumb when it comes to math, but if someone actually takes time to slow it down for me, I can do it no problem.
