I forgot, there's an artist who has a stand in artist's alley normally there. I told her that I'd dress up as one of her characters. So that's gonna be one. I can't decide which one of two I'm gonna do, though. And I can't remember her site so I can't post the pics. I've got 'em on my computer so I do know what I'm going based on, but I just can't post it for y'all. Sorry...

Am planning to go as a punkish catgirl (to underline my nickname "The Cat Artist"). The hood has ears on it, but I was hoping to have a headband pair for when the hood is off. Can anyone help me there? :sweatdrop:

hey I have a shippuden Sakura costume is the shirt and the white skirt. tell me what size do you wear?. I am trying to get rid of some of my old costumes. I can also tell you some good cheap places to get wigs and accessories. I love cosplaying I have been doing it since I was 13. So I have learned the ins and outs, and where to get good priced accesories and costumes. I can't sew so I have to buy my costumes. It is my hobby! WOOT! :D

I wanted to go as Yuiko from Loveless, too (since I'm too tall to be Ritsuka, lol).

I am a size 10-11 at the waist and a medium to a large, depending on the make of the shirt. If your outfit will fit me, that'd be awesome!! :D

PLEASE let me know where I can get cheap cosplay accessories and costumes. I have never cosplayed before and Nekocon will be my first con, so I wanna look kul! ^_^

Well I am around that size to, so when we have our first anime club meeting, I will look forward to meeting you and we will talk more about then. Your first Nekocon. well it will be a big con this year, you will love it. Um if the skirt does not fit I can help you find one. One good place top get cheep accesories is ebay. I will tell you right now the costumes on there are pricey, but the accesrioes are so cheep, it is also a good place to get wigs. like I said I have been cosplaying for almost 8 years and ebay now is a great place to get new and cheep items, they now espcaily have a lot of naruto items. I don't know where you would get the boots for shippuden sakura. But what you can do is buy the regular black ones, then black leg warmers to ad the look of the boots, thats what I did. it worked out pretty well. Also if you don't want to buy a wig from ebay, since nekocon is so close to halloween, he have lots of halloween super stores around here, so you could find a short pink wig at one of them.

Yeah, I found out real quick that eBay was a treasure trove of cheap anime goods. XD Some of the costume prices weren't even that bad, but more than I'd probably want to pay. >.<#

I can help make you one. I don't like spending money on anything other than books and manga (saving up for a house or something) so I can't buy costumes. I've made all of mine so far, I can help with whatever's needed.

Actually, guys, I intended to plan some kind of sewing party out once school started up. I figured it'd be a fun way for those of us who cosplay to get together, get to know each other, and to actually get our costumes done!

So maybe we could do one before Nekocon to help everyone with their cosplay? =o

That sounds cool, except I can't sew for...well, you know.

That's why we'd have the sewing party! So you can learn while in the company of people who know what they're doing a little better. :D

It's easy. I learned it in my High School Drama class. But yeah, that's a good idea to have a sewing party. Let's just not have it anytime from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. That way I can show up (unlike the lock-in...)

Hey I seem to have found the costume. I bring it with me to the first meeting.

I actually just made and used an outfit of Alexander Anderson from Hellsing, and that was a damned fun cosplay. The swords were balls hard to make XD
