I'm gonna start coming to ASC meetings, I think, since yanno. President. I should probably be involved at least for appearances sake, even though I don't really watch enough anime to be helpful. XD But I'll try! But anyway. Uh. Weekends are fine, I should think. =o Whatever works.

Hahaha. I know they didn't. XD Buuuut I figure, we want people more involved with ASC, right? And how can I ask people to be more involved if *I'm* not more involved?

I think doing things in the ASC is just about the only thing you CAN do to get more involved, you're so involved already XD.

Like this:

"Hey, can you be a little more involved?" :P

But seriously the more the merrier!

I'm of the opinion that I shouldn't ask anyone to do something that I'm not willing to do, myself. Which is, of course, why I'm involved in everything that has to do with AC. XD

Besides, I think I'd enjoy ASC meetings. :D

Actually with only about 10 people there it takes about 9 hours so I am not sure about more the merrier, do I really want to go on till midnight or so, eww.

But I'm game whenever you decide. Just if it's on a Saturday I want to be home in time to watch Code Geass and if it's already started Guardian.

Either of the Sundays would work best for me, since I usually have to work on Saturdays.

I don't think it matters how many people are there, it's still gonna take the same amount of time.

Well it is 23 min. per episode on average. Which means only about 2 ~3 per hour.

On average we will have 30 titles that are up for voting. Even considering the more optimistic figure you are talking 10 hours of viewing. :doh:

I'm good with either date right now. My question is where will be viewing this stuff?

I will see if we can get a public room in the quads like previous meetings which would be cool. If not, we will probably end up at someone's house or another room on campus.

Well it looks like the general consensus is for August 24th. We will tennatively schedule this for 2PM on August 24th.

A lot of how long depends on how many series we have to actually watch.

Clarification of procedure:

At the beginning of the meeting a list is compiled of all the series that are recommended for viewing. Of those titles we see how many people have seen each title AND would vote for it to be seen. If the majority in attendance have seen it and vote for it we skip the review viewing of the first episode and add the title to the standing list of titles that have passed the ASC.

So how do you watch stuff not everyone is seen? Do people just bring a bunch of stuff to vote for?

If I do end up going, where's it okay for me to park? Would it matter to park in front of the place, or would I get a ticket? I'm assuming that any sort of driveway you have will be taken up.

Parking on our street is not a problem. Since it is off campus there is no zoned parking.

Well, it starts at 2....the ending depends on a lot of things. I usually expect it to end at 9 at the earliest, but who knows?
