1. Keep discussion/language PG-13. If you're linking to something off-site that's NOT PG-13, put a "NSFW" or "NWS" tag on it somewhere as a warning. Even so, don't link to porn or tubgirl or anything, please. We're all college kids here, use your common sense.

2. Keep the illegal stuff to yourself. Don't post links, not even to pirated anime. PM whatever you want wherever you want, but keep it off the main forums.

3. Be nice. Really, it'll make you more friends and not have your forum staff spitting bullets.

4. Don't multi-post / spam post. What do I mean by that? Don't post twice in a row in the same thread. We all have lots of things to say and love raising that post count, but it makes it harder to moderate the forums and keep track of what's going on and how much interest an idea is generating if you're falsely stuffing the post count. Bumping a topic for a very good reason may be excluded from this rule.

5. Keep your signature to a reasonable size. A good rule of thumb is, keep it less than 400x200. If you fudge that some I won't care, but if I'm breaking my scroll wheel getting past your signature then it's too much.

6. Keep an eye out on the announcements section for new rules and upcoming events and such. It's just generally a good idea.

7. Avoid posting absolute nonsense/trash. If it's talk about nothing and/or random forum games it can go in the asylum, but even the craziest people in the asylum get solitary confinement. If you know what I mean, and I think you do!
