So. I managed to see BM:TDK before I left on vacation this weekend. I dunno if I was just tired or what, but I wasn't as impressed with it as the first one.

BTW, biggest SFX gripe? The whole tractor trailer scene. Even giving everything else a pass, there's no way it would have flipped over like that.

I guess maybe it was jus' too hyped for me. I had the same reaction with Pitch Black. Everyone kept telling me how great it was, and when I saw it, I was just meh.

I thought it was one of the best Batman movies so far. Batman was not as good as he was in Batman Begins, but it really wasn't all about him this time. I thought that this brought a new light to the Joker and Two Face. Sure it didn't stick with the original comic versions like the first set of movies did, but it gave a new realistic definition. It showed what the Joker would really be like and Two Face as well (I really wanted his left eye to blink so many times). Well, you're entitled to your own opinion, but a Batman fan like me that's loved it since childhood says good job to the cast and crew.
