with the beginning of the school year just a few days away, im a bit surprised that no one has told all of you yet about the anime crew's hangout location. most of us meet DAILY at the lion's den in webb from its openning till whenever. yes, daily. no, we don't have lives. you will also find ppl chilling in the seats just outside the lion's den.
all those that want to meet up (and also play brawl since thats one of the main hobbies for some of us) are invited to come.
hope to see some new faces next week.

"Somebody" already told most of them, just not on the forums. ;D I've told a few of them individually and then a massive lot of them through an e-mail sent to everyone who checked the anime club interest box at preview.

If you spend a lot of time in the Lion's Den, your grades will suffer. Unless you're an exception, which seems to happen more often these days.

Your grades will suffer, but just realize this and get a photographic memory anyways. They're cheap on ebay.

Stop scaring them away.

So long as you don't stay there ALL day, and that you devote time to your studies, you won't fail. Trust me. I was there a lot and I had A's and B's.

Well, a lot of us hang out in front of Lion's Den or on the couches on the left side and chat/study, and so we keep our grades up AND socialize! :D And if you need help with stuff, ESPECIALLY math help, we're there for ya!

Just remember S^4 (Study, Sustenance, Sleep and Shower). As long as you remember this there will be no problems.

Anyway, a great idea is to find out who's in your classes and make/join a study group. It makes life a lot easier in the long run.

(If you stay in the Lion's Den ALL DAY and complain about your grades being bad, I will promptly shank you. Just an FYI. <3)

I'm like the living example of joining the Anime Club and Graduating... It's completely doable. Granted I didn't spend as much time @ the lion's den or at meetings, but you gotta set your priorities. Animeclub is a nice chill zone - not at all intended to defer you from your schoolwork, again that's your responsibilites as a member. Enjoy the college atmospehere yea, club, mingle - enjoy some good anime, good VG/card/mmo players. It's pretty much the don't go home club. Again have fun and listen to Jessica - when she's at a reasonable tone of voice (you'll understand what I mean when you get to know her TEE HEEE) :ph43r:
