Title: Classes!
Description: what classes are you taking???
fightingcomet - August 24, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
So, I'm kinda curious- what classes are you all taking?
I'm in Bio 115N, Chem 211 & 212, Psyc 201, and Hist 104.
If anyone's in my classes, study groups are <3, and sitting together during lectures is fun too. :D (I'm sorry if I fall asleep, I tend to do that in really really early classes. :X)

Hey John, is your CS 350 classroom one? Since I got admitted late, I was only able to register for the video stream one.
Ecnelis - August 25, 2008 12:51 AM (GMT)
Its at 1pm Yeah. Didn't know you could do 361 and 350 at the same time. Thought 361 was a pre-req for 350.

Most likely since you seem to be a transfer. ODU doesn't teach how to use the Standard Template Library until 361, as Linked Lists are made by "hand" in 150/250. So, you should have a running start when hitting the ground.

Which professor do you have for the Theater class?
Ethereal Raven - August 26, 2008 02:12 PM (GMT)
If it's Spiel, and the class is from 1-150, we need to chill out together in his class to rid ourselves of the boredom.

Yup, it's Spiel, MWF, 1-1:30.
Class wasn't so bad today, though it was mostly other students talking and him responding, so I'm still not sure if he's any good. Hm.
And OHHH. *Points at tim pkmn89.* You're Tim! XD.
LoonLoon - August 28, 2008 12:16 AM (GMT)
I just dropped CS 350 and added CS 312 instead. As I didn't have the prerequisite for it and the fact that the only section I could get was videostream (which didn't quite work the first day) had something to do with it.
After a few days of class, being a transfer student, I still don't feel like I "belong" at ODU yet. I don't know anyone, and was quite bored during lunch break. Even in my classes seem like everybody knew each other already and had their own little groups. I did stop by the Lion's Den on Tuesday, but only briefly to look around. I didn't stay as that was near the end of my between-class break. So anybody want to hang out between 11am and 1pm, you can text me at (757) 214-1798
