A Userplane account is not required to chat in the chatrooms, however it does allow you access to a chat profile. With that said, if you do not want to create an account and want to chat, simply type your guest username in the Userplane box through the Forums Portal and click Log In.

To create your account, click on the following link (Sign Up), fill out all required information, click the validation link in a follow-up email.... and you're good to go. See you in the chatrooms!
